Guided by meditation facilitator Robin Harris, enjoy this gentle, unique poetry session, accompanied by poems from two of the most thoughtful, ruminative poets working in Scotland today, Alycia Pirmohamed and William Letford. Take the time to connect with poetry, and your experiences within it, more deeply in this restorative session.
Robin Harris is a meditation facilitator for Tergar International, co-founder of Tergar Edinburgh Meditation Community, and spent four years as a monk in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. Alycia Pirmohamed is a Canadian-born poet based in Scotland, and her debut collection, Another Way to Split Water (Birlinn) won the Edwin Morgan Prize. William Letford’s three collections are published by Caracanet, he has performed live around the world, and his work has been adapted for film, stage, radio and accompanied by orchestras.
